Description: The Lyapko Applicator "Needle Ball" is a spherical device with a diameter of 55 mm, a needle spacing of 4 mm, and contains 656 needles.

The "Needle Ball" Applicator is a powerful tool for enhancing perception, attention, thinking, speech, coordination, observation, imagination, and memory (visual and motor).

For issues related to impaired nerve conduction and mental activity, it is essential to apply the "Needle Ball" Applicator (by rolling or making gentle presses) on the palms and soles, which are projection zones for all human organs and systems. Such localized action develops fine motor skills and tactile sensitivity of the limbs, promoting the development and restoration of brain functions in both children and adults.

The Lyapko Applicator "Needle Ball" is convenient for "finger gymnastics", widely used by child psychologists, health educators, speech therapists, rehabilitation specialists, neurologists, and special educators, i.e., doctors working with children with speech delays, delays in neuromuscular, neuropsychological, and psychomotor development, suffering from cerebral palsy, stuttering, and other diseases.

Attention! The "Needle Ball" is not an expander and is not intended for strong squeezing in the hand; it is not a tennis ball. It is forbidden to roll the ball underfoot on the floor with strong pressure, to sit, lie, or stand on it, to throw it against the wall, or to throw it into the water.

How to properly use the "Needle Ball": It is recommended to perform gentle rolling movements or light presses in the palms. Similar movements on the foot should be done using hands or lightly roll on the floor without pressure.

Applications of the "Needle Ball" Applicator (UAL):

  • For injuries to the joint-ligament apparatus of the hands and feet to restore motor function of the feet, hands, and fingers after injuries (e.g., Dupuytren's contracture, after cast removal).
  • For "working through" muscle-joint contractures and normalizing movements in autism and cerebral palsy in children.
  • For traumatic brain injuries, strokes during home rehabilitation.
  • In cases of peripheral nerve damage.
  • For stress-tension states of the autonomic nervous system, predominance of the sympathetic division of the autonomic nervous system (manifested by cold hands, numb fingers).
  • For treating psycho-speech disorders in children (in speech therapy practice for training fine finger movements).
  • For prevention and elimination of muscle finger fatigue, preparing the hand for writing, increasing efficiency, relieving nervous tension (a manifestation of nervous tension is cold hands), as a health technology in education (finger gymnastics and physical breaks in school).
  • For effective prevention of wrist (carpal) syndrome (a disease that occurs with prolonged incorrect hand position when working with a "mouse" type manipulator and a computer keyboard).
  • To reduce the psychological craving for smoking and to replace the harmful habit of holding a cigarette in the hands - press and roll between the palms with the "Needle Ball".
  • In preparing hands for playing musical instruments. Helps to relieve stiffness, tone muscles, eliminate cold fingertips caused by excitement, as well as relieve fatigue and pain in the forearm due to prolonged practice.
  • For stress relief. Rolling the ball stimulates nerve endings and numerous biologically active points located on the palm. It creates a pleasant relaxing sensation.
  • For pain relief and achieving a sedative effect, apply the "Needle Ball" to painful or problem areas from the center to the periphery counterclockwise for 15-20 minutes.
  • To achieve a stimulating effect, act on general spectrum points clockwise from the periphery to the center (for 7-10 minutes).
  • The "Needle Ball" UAL is a means of intensified action on painful and problem areas on the human body.
  • For a tonic effect, act with the "Needle Ball" along the energy movement in the channel (Fig.1) until persistent skin hyperemia along the meridian (approximately 7-10 minutes), and for a sedative effect - against the energy movement in the channel until persistent skin hyperemia (approximately 10-15 minutes).

Emergency Assistance: In case of an emergency (loss of consciousness), use the "Needle Ball" to quickly tap and prick the fingertips of the hands and feet, earlobes, as well as the tip of the nose and upper lip for 20 seconds. Pause for 15 seconds and repeat these actions 2-3 times.

For pain syndrome, apply the UAL "Needle Ball" to the pain point or the point corresponding to the problem, according to the acupuncture point schemes you have, press and hold for 5-10-20 minutes. For trigeminal neuralgia, facial sympathalgias, and toothache, additionally apply the "Needle Ball" to the areas of greatest pain for 10-30 minutes and briefly (2-5 minutes) to symmetrical areas on the opposite side. Also, it is necessary to act on the earlobe on the side of the pain. To increase efficiency, briefly (1-2 minutes) act on the earlobe of the healthy side. To relieve pain after tooth extraction, act on the earlobe.

Techniques for using the "Needle Ball": In pediatric practice, for problems related to impaired nerve system conduction and mental activity, to develop fine motor skills and tactile sensitivity, it is necessary to act (roll, make light presses) on the palms and feet in a playful form, in a calm, unhurried pace. Exposure time is 3-5 minutes.

After a stroke, to restore brain functions: improve movement in the hands, restore speech, roll the "Needle Ball" gently throughout the day with a healthy hand, press it in the hand, put it in the affected hand. Exposure time is 7-10 minutes on the healthy side, 10-20 minutes on the affected side.

Rolling the ball in the palms in the morning for 3-7 minutes helps to relieve lethargy, drowsiness, gives a toning effect, helps to increase blood pressure. Rolling for 15 minutes lowers blood pressure, reduces headaches, neck pain, calms the nervous system, and evening use promotes good sleep.

After removing a cast for fractures, injuries, damage to the joint-ligament apparatus of the hands and feet, roll the entire hand, foot with the "Needle Ball". The duration of exposure on the side of the fracture should be longer in time (10-15 minutes) than on the healthy limb (3-7 minutes).

For pain syndrome, apply the UAL "Needle Ball" to the pain point, press with your hand and hold for 15-20 minutes. You can also roll this area for 10-15 minutes. To potentiate (enhance) the effect, the prescription should include symmetrical points and areas on the opposite side. For example, the pain area is on the left - apply on the right. Sensations should be pleasant.

The effect of the UAL "Needle Ball" on active correspondence areas to organs on the palms and feet according to the Su Jok therapy method (Fig.2) has a positive, health-improving effect on the body.
