Chance 5.8 / 6.8 Mat
Dimensions:
Size: 235x118 mm
Needle spacing: 5.8 mm
Number of needles: 890
Description:
Despite its compact size, the Chance 5.8 mat can be used independently or in combination with other mats on any body area. It is particularly effective when applied to the back of the head for headaches, the cervical-collar zone for neck pain, the thoracic spine, the lumbar-sacral spine for lower back pain, and the limbs for joint issues.
Using the mat on the spine one or two at a time allows for full spine coverage. It can also be applied to the front of the chest, similar to a mustard plaster, or to the abdominal area for internal organ issues, placing a weight on top (e.g., a sandbag) for even pressure.
The mat can be placed under the thighs or calves. For feet, use while sitting, pressing from heel to toe or simulating walking on the mat placed on a cushion. It can also be applied to the soles of the feet while lying with bent knees.
For joint diseases, apply above and below the joint, securing the mat with an elastic bandage.
To enhance the mat's effect, it can be applied to fabric soaked in herbal tinctures or medications, achieving an electrophoresis effect at home.
Application Method:
The session duration, i.e., the time the mat affects the skin, determines the desired effect:
For toning, pain relief in acute severe pain, increased efficiency, and elevated blood pressure in hypotension: 7-10 minutes. For relaxation, relief of prolonged chronic pain, reduced blood pressure, and a sedative effect: 15-30 minutes.
Contraindications: Relative contraindications for using the mats include:
- Acute infectious diseases;
- Exacerbation of chronic diseases with elevated body temperature;
- Decompensated conditions in diseases of the cardiovascular system, lungs, liver, kidneys;
- Acute thrombophlebitis;
