The "Daisy" mat
Dimensions:
- Diameter: 31.4 cm
- Needle Spacing: 5 mm
-
Number of Needles: 2106 Description: The "Daisy" mat is a universal and multifunctional device. Its distinctive features include an unusual shape, a large area of impact, and the presence of "movable petals" that allow it to conform to the contours of any body part.
The edges of the petals have holes for threading elastic bands with fasteners, allowing the device to be secured and adjusting the pressure intensity. The intensity of the impact is chosen individually by the user as needed.
Application Method: The mat can be applied to the head as a "cap" (for headaches, hair growth issues), to the neck-collar zone including the nape area, the back, shoulder belt, chest, spine zones, lumbar-sacral area, the abdomen, buttocks, perineum (for diseases of the pelvic organs, inflammation of the uterus and appendages, cystitis, urethritis, prostatitis, sigmoiditis, hemorrhoids, anal fissures, impotence, frigidity, nocturnal enuresis), and any other body areas.
The "Daisy" mat can be successfully applied to large joints, as it conforms to the body shape, maximizing skin contact. It can also be used on the feet (while seated). Securing the mat using an elastic band or stretch bandage to areas like large joints, chest, lower back, and abdomen allows for active movements during the session without damaging the skin.
The duration of the mat's impact on the skin depends on the desired effect:
- For toning, pain relief during acute pain, increasing work capacity, and raising blood pressure in hypotension: 7–10 minutes.
- For relaxation, relief from prolonged chronic pain, lowering blood pressure, and sedative effect: 15–30 minutes.
Within the first five minutes of using the mat, the relatively uncomfortable pricking sensations transition to comfortable sensations of intense warmth, pleasant "vibration", tingling, and subsequently, feelings of drowsiness, overall relaxation, leading to a healthy, deep sleep.
If discomfort persists for 10-15 minutes, the mat should be removed and only reapplied after 5-10 hours or the next day, targeting a smaller area. Causes of discomfort can be incorrect application, i.e., uneven load on the needles, and sliding off the mat, resulting in skin scratches. To address this, lift off the mat and settle back onto it, placing a soft roller under the knees.
The treatment duration is 1-2 weeks. The course can be repeated after 2-3 weeks. There is positive practical experience from daily use of the mats for several consecutive months. Improvements in well-being, relief from chronic pain, weight reduction, increased vitality, and work capacity have been observed.
